Jay Novacek at 7-R RanchThere was a time in my life when I just needed to relax and get out of the city and away from the demands of football. Back in the early 90’s while playing football for the Dallas Cowboys, 7-R Ranch was that place. It was so peaceful and quiet and the sheer beauty of the country would just take me to another place, physically and mentally. After a hard game or practice all I needed to do was take a walk through the unbelievable conservation area with all it’s wildlife and incredible views and that always did the trick. The remarkable elevations of terrain meant I could see for miles and miles around. All that considered one of my favorite activities out there was the great fishing. I always seemed to catch something, no matter what lake I fished in. It was so relaxing and I always had a great time.
I can go on and on about the sunsets and the starry nights but that is something that you will have to witness yourself. I would highly recommend making the drive to 7-R Ranch and experience what I did. You will fall in love with it like I did.
