The History behind 7-R Ranch

The 7-R Ranch has been our family getaway home for decades. I had the opportunity while I was a young boy to spend great quality time with my friends and family playing around on the hills and lakes. I was very lucky to have the chance to experience the beauty and serenity that this area has to offer.

The views are breathtaking, and the sunsets make you never want to leave. It is that beauty and backdrop that we want to share with a select few. It all began more than 20 years ago when my father fell in love with this land. He began assembling parcels as a place for him to bring our family to get away from the hustle and bustle of the metroplex. As he brought more friends and relatives to the ranch, he realized what a truly special place it was. And he knew that at some point, he would want to share it with other conscientious individuals. And we are now ready to open this area up and share it with you.

The amount of wildlife on the ranch is truly spectacular. From the elegant, white-tail deer to the muscular and hearty Aoudad, the “big game” is second to none. There is also a tremendous variety of birds, including turkey, dove, quail, hawks, roadrunners, buzzards, egrets, and ducks. Just sit for a minute and soak up all that nature has to provide. The numerous lakes provide some of the best bass fishing around. And there is nothing more soothing than hearing the water lap up against the side of your boat as you cast your lure into the shallows of the McIntire Lake.
